Built into Strata
Ask your shop. It does the work.
Not a chatbot bolted onto a CRM. It reads your real books, answers from them, then makes the change itself, pausing for your confirmation before anything reaches a customer. Nothing to set up; it is already in there.
On every plan. 30-day free trial, cancel anytime.
How much did we invoice last month, and who still owes me?
strata_report · strata_list_invoices
July came in at $41,280 across 63 invoices. Four are still open:
Marcus is the one to chase: it is the largest and the oldest. Want me to open his invoice?
The difference
Most AI guesses. This one reads your books.
Most answer from a summary, or invent a plausible number. This one queries your shop. Every figure below came from a real read, and the tool line above it says which, so you can check rather than trust.
Which service actually made us the most last quarter?
strata_report
By revenue, ceramic coating, though it is not the whole story:
Ceramic wins on revenue with the fewest jobs. Interiors are more than twice the work for half the money.
What is on for Thursday?
strata_list_appointments
Five jobs, and your afternoon is tighter than your morning:
The 1:00 overlaps your last bay by 30 minutes. Worth a look.
It does the work
Answering is the easy half.
Being told which invoice is wrong is no use if you then fix it yourself. So it fixes it, moving a job, marking one done, correcting a line, recording that a check arrived, in the same breath as the answer.
Anything that cannot be undone, moves money, or reaches a customer stops at a button first, and you press Confirm. Afterward it tells you what actually left the building, because “done” is not a receipt.
The ceramic on Marcus’s Tahoe should have been the truck price, not the sedan one.
strata_get_invoice · strata_list_services
Found it: INV-0412, ceramic coating billed at the sedan rate. Your catalog has Truck / SUV at $1,850, which is $650 more. That invoice is already sent, so this is yours to approve:
Change a line on an invoice
INV-0412 · Ceramic coating · $1,200 to $1,850
ConfirmUpdated. INV-0412 is now $1,850. Marcus has not been told; send it when you are ready.
Draft an invoice for the ceramic coating we did on Marcus’s Tahoe.
strata_find_client · strata_list_services
Found Marcus Webb and his 2021 Tahoe. Ceramic coating is priced by vehicle size in your catalog, so I need you to pick before I put a number on it:
A Tahoe is almost certainly Truck / SUV, but I am not going to guess at a $650 difference.
Where it stops
It asks before it charges the wrong amount.
It cannot type a price into your invoice. Every line comes from your own catalog. When a service is priced by vehicle size and the size is uncertain, it refuses to guess, because a confident wrong answer lands on your customer.
Same story with people. Two customers named Chen get shown to you side by side, with the vehicle and the last job attached, and the draft waits until you say which one.
The limits
It sends only when you press Confirm. It cannot charge or delete.
Not a preference you set and hope holds. What it may touch is a list, and every send on it waits for your press. Everything else on the right is refused by absence rather than by a check. Deleting is the clearest case: there is no delete on the list at all.

What it costs
Included every month, spent a question at a time.
Every plan includes a dollar amount of AI tokens each month, and a question is what spends it. The Assistant counts questions, not tokens, against that amount: one ask is one question, however much work it takes. Look up a client, read three invoices, and pull a report, and that is still one ask, a number you can reason about.
Solo
$15 in AI tokens a month, included.
Pro
$35 in AI tokens a month, included.
Premier
$50 in AI tokens a month, included.
On the free trial
25 for the whole trial, on any plan.
If you run out
Top up with Starter (50), Bundle (150) or Large (400). A one-time charge rather than another subscription, and unlike the monthly allowance, purchased asks never expire.
Assistant questions
Do I have to set anything up?
No. It is already there. The Ask button sits in the corner of every screen, Home included, and opens the same way everywhere, with its tools behind the + to book, quote, add a client, take a photo or talk. There is nothing to connect, no key, and no separate subscription.
Can it charge a card or text a customer?
It cannot charge a card, run checkout, or refund one, and it never sends a campaign. It can send a quote, an invoice, a payment link or a confirmation, and approve a follow-up text, only after you press Confirm on the card it shows you, which names who gets what. On Pro and Premier it can text one customer: the card shows the exact words, who gets them and the line they go from, and nothing is sent until you press Confirm. Texting starts on Pro, so on Solo it does not text customers. It can record that a payment arrived, behind a confirm, but it cannot move money.
What is an ask?
One question, however much work it takes. Look up a client, read three invoices and pull a report, and that is still one ask. Every plan includes a dollar amount of AI tokens each month ($15 on Solo, $35 on Pro and $50 on Premier), and a question is what spends it. A free trial includes 25 asks.
What happens when I run out?
It stops and offers a top-up. The Starter, Bundle and Large packs are 50, 150 or 400 asks, charged once rather than subscribed to, and they never expire.
Where do the prices come from?
Your own catalog. It cannot type a price you did not set, and when a service is priced by vehicle size and the size is uncertain it asks rather than picking.
Can it delete something by mistake?
It cannot delete anything at all. A job, a service line, a customer merge: none are reachable, so no misread gets to them.
