Dynamic Upselling in Strata

How it works

Dynamic Upselling, step by step

1

Pair add-ons with the services you sell

In Services, link the add-ons that go with each service and mark your picks as Recommended. Give each a price and a duration.

2

The customer sees them in their hub

Under their upcoming appointment, the hub lists Optional add-ons for the service they booked, with a Recommended tag and an Ask to add button.

3

One tap sends you the request

Ask to add turns to Requested, and the customer reads that the shop reviews it first. You get a notification, logged on the appointment.

4

You add it, and the ticket grows

Add the service line to the appointment. The price updates on the job and carries to the invoice, so the bill matches what they expected.

The same add-ons, at booking

The booking page's Review step lists paired add-ons under Add-ons, Recommended first. Picking one updates the price, time and deposit before they confirm.

Options on the estimate, too

Estimates carry optional lines to tick and choice groups to pick one from. The total updates as they choose, and only picked lines are approved.

Recommended, not pushy

A Recommended tag is the whole pitch. Customers decide on their own phone, and the hub says the shop reviews every request first.

Nothing changes without you

A request is a request. Nothing on the appointment changes until you add the service.

What you get

Bigger tickets from the same customers, asked for by them.

Every add-on request arrives as a notification and an activity on the visit.

The booking page and the estimate offer the same add-ons, so the upgrade is never left to memory.

Recommended add-ons carry the tag on every surface.

Dynamic Upselling questions

Can a customer add a service to their appointment on their own?

No. Ask to add sends you a request, and the hub says the shop reviews it first. Nothing changes until you add the service line.

Where do the add-ons come from?

From the links you set in Services. You choose which add-ons carry the Recommended tag, and the hub, booking page and estimate all read that one list.

Does the customer see the price?

Yes, when the add-on has one. Add-ons can show price and added time, and the booking page updates the total and deposit when they pick.
