How it works
Email Campaigns, step by step
Pick who gets it inside the campaign
Start from a quick pick, like customers who haven't been in a while or who had a service, then adjust it in plain words.
See how many can get it, and why the rest can't
The count says how many match and how many can get it. The rest are counted by reason, like never said yes, no email, or unsubscribed.
Write it, preview it, send yourself a test
Greet each person by first name and add a Book now button to your booking page. Preview it, then send a test to your own inbox.
It goes out from your mailbox, in your hours
Mail leaves through the Google, Microsoft or SMTP mailbox you connected, in batches during your sending hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM by default.
The rules
- Each customer gets at most one campaign or automatic win-back email from you every 7 days. Win-back texts don't count.
- Campaigns go out 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM in your shop's time zone, unless you set other sending hours. A send after hours waits for them.
- Every campaign email a customer gets carries your shop's mailing address and an unsubscribe link.
Who gets it is a question, and it never goes stale
No member list is stored. Every send asks again, so a customer who books drops out of "haven't been in a while". Only delivered work counts.
Your From line, your reputation, your inbox
Mail leaves through the mailbox you connected, so the From address is your shop. If that connection breaks, the queue pauses and tells you.
Consent is re-checked at the moment of delivery
Picking someone is not permission. Strata re-reads consent just before each email leaves, and skips anyone who opted out, even people you added by hand.
The way out rides on every message
Each campaign carries an unsubscribe link and your shop address. No address on file, no send. Hard bounces and spam complaints join your do-not-mail ledger.
What you get
Who gets it is worked out fresh at every send, not frozen when you wrote it
The From line is your shop, and replies land in the inbox you already read
The first number you see is how many can get it, with the reasons for the rest
Consent is read again as each email leaves, so an opt-out counts right away
Each customer gets at most one marketing email from you every 7 days
Unsubscribes, complaints, and dead addresses stay off every later campaign
Email Campaigns questions
Do I need a new email address or a sending domain?
No. Connect the mailbox you already use: Google, Microsoft or any SMTP host. Most providers want an app password. Nothing sends until a test message lands in your own inbox.
Can I send a campaign by text instead?
Campaigns are email only. Texting in Strata is the two-way inbox: reminders, replies and win-back messages Autopilot drafts for you to approve one at a time.
Can the assistant write a campaign for me?
Not yet. You write the campaign, and only you can send it.
What if someone opts out after I've hit send?
They don't get the email. Consent is re-read the moment each message would leave, so a mid-send opt-out is honored and recorded as skipped.
Can I see who opened it?
No. There are no tracking pixels, and links are not rewritten to track clicks. Each sent campaign shows how many it reached and how many of those booked within 21 days.
